Signs: How passed loved ones communicate with us

I often get asked by clients what signs are my passed away loved ones going to send me? I typically exercise extreme caution here as signs are deeply personal and can be very specific to the relationship that you had with that person. Unless I get a super clear answer from spirit I will typically advise the client to ask their loved one to send them a specific sign or ask if they have gotten something from that loved one that they felt was a sign?

A beautiful example of this is from one of my best friends in Boston. Her husband had lost his mother before they met and it was a very significant loss for him. Despite the fact that she never met her, my friend always felt that she was guided to her husband via mom playing matchmaker on the other side. She also had an intuitive download that his mother sent signs of ladybugs to her (yes you do not have to be a medium to get psychic information or receive signs and communication from spirit but more on that later.)

Now I did not live in Boston for that long and I did not know much of my friends mother in laws passing except she battled with illness for a long time and about the lady bugs so when she asked me to do a reading for her husband I was excited but a little apprehensive. 

Reading for strangers is one thing but it always seems more intimidating for me when it’s a friend or a family member. In fact I try to avoid reading for friends and family members because more than likely I know too much or I am too emotionally involved in their lives to read clearly but in this case I did not have much interaction with her husband or know a lot about his mother so I gladly accepted. 

Fast forward to the day of the reading. I was genuinely nervous, there is a huge level of responsibility in this work and I always want to read ethically. I know he really wants to hear from his mother but will she come through? Will he get the messages he needs from her? 

As the anxious thoughts started swirling through my mind I looked over and out the window only to see…. You guessed it…. A LADY BUG. She was crawling on my window pane and I heard “I am here and I am not leaving until I talk to my son.” I chuckled a little and said “okay lady lets do this.”

I know the skeptics out there will say it's a coincidence but I  never saw a lady bug the whole time I lived in Boston and I honestly can’t say I have seen one since. And at the end of the day it doesn’t matter what others think, I knew this was his mother sending me a sign. 

Later that evening my friend and her husband arrived for his reading and the lady bug was still on my window pane ready to talk to her son. The funny thing is his father came through the reading to talk first. At the end of the day I have very little control of what or who comes through a reading but I trusted that his mother was going to show up… and of course she did! 

She delivered some beautiful and very healing messages to her son that evening. She also confirmed that my friend would be getting pregnant very soon and not to give up hope as they had been trying to get pregnant for almost a year at this point with no luck. After the reading I woke up the next day to find the lady bug had left. 

A few short weeks after the reading I received the news that my friend was indeed pregnant! I was so thrilled for her! 

Then, during her maternity photo shoot, my friend had a lady bug land on her stomach and stayed… FOR THE ENTIRE PHOTO SHOOT. There is no doubt in my mind it was her mother in law confirming that she was still around and she would be with her and her daughter always, just from another dimension.
